MEET OUR TEAM
Tony Wong has been in the emissions testing industry for more than 30 years. He began his career as a project manager for Entropy Inc. in 1985 specializing in toxics testing projects for hazardous waste incineration. As Entropy’s West Coast Division Vice President, he started Entropy’s western operations based in Huntington Beach, CA in 1991.
He was a principal founder of AirKinetics, Inc, and has served as its president since inception. He has developed AirKinetics into an influential position within the emissions testing industry.
Son Bui has served as Vice President of AirKinetics, Inc since 1995 when it was first founded. He has been in the field of air pollution testing since 1987 and is considered an expert in the field of Continuous Emission Monitoring (CEM) systems. Son has performed well over 500 CEM test programs including Relative Accuracy Test Audit (RATA) and CEM certification testing. He has managed and performed tests using a variety of EPA, California Air Resource Board (CARB), and South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) reference methods. Son is also experienced in the operation and optimization of various combustion and pollution control equipment.
Sr. Project Manager
Hung Duong has served as Project Manager of AirKinetics, Inc. since it was formed in December of 1995. He started his air environmental career in 1990 as a field test engineer and later joined Entropy, Inc. in 1992 as a project supervisor. He has trained CEMS operators, clients to do maintenance and trouble-shooting of CEMS equipment. He also has conducted and managed numerous compliance test programs for NH3, HCl, Metals, Hg, Dioxins, VOCs, THC, RATAs and toxic air contaminants throughout the United States and Philippines.
When not working, Hung enjoys travel with his wife, exploring new hikes, running half-marathons, practice Kung Fu, cooking and drinking wines, whiskey and craft beers.
Gary Mata has been with AirKinetics since its inception in December 1995. He has served as the Laboratory Manager and is responsible for all laboratory functions both in-house and subcontracted. He has also managed well over 100 air testing projects for municipal waste facilities, refineries, power plants, cement kilns, and glass furnaces. Prior to that, he served 3 years as the Laboratory Supervisor for Entropy’s West Coast Division. He is also QSTI Certified for I, II, and IV.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my wife, and kids and enjoy time at the Disneyland Resort. Hobbies include golf, wine tasting, and craft beers.
